I saw a nice looking cab with a center dual tip exhaust from a distance at Hersey this year. Anyone here? Would love to hear more about the car; this picture is pretty poor but the best I could do with an iphone from so far back.
interesting. i wonder how they did that. the spare tire well is in the way of a dual system. they may have just bent the pipe around and added a dual tip.
It looked like they filled the normal exhaust cut out in the rear bumper and moved it down below the license plate. I agree the spare wheel well would have been in the way.
no worries. i don't like it anyway. don't like it on the vette or boxster either. one on each side, yes. 2 in the middle, no.
Personally I like to stock look, but I'm also a fan of other well engineered approaches. Cars that have a daul exhaust on either side often appear to have a visually wider rear end which I wouldn't prefer on a cabriolet.
interesting. one of the reasons i deleted the 3rd brake light, and the rear emblems, was to widen the look of the rear end.

+ 1 . One on each side rocks. Anything in tne middle sucks . ( how's that for a juvenile statements , lol ). But hey, it's JMHO :-)
Don't prefer one over the other (Dual center v. 7-10 split), but I think the center setup updates the look. Ala the Boxster/Cayman.
Side note.. what's the yellow car to the right of the 968? 350Z?
Yes I like one on each side too and on top makes it even better!
Since we're talking about this. Here's a photoshop mockup with some concepts I made last week.
Not professionally done in any way, just 15 minutes in PS. (I have a better file on my other computer)
I'd love to actually have the bottom one made, dual exhaust is so damn cool. (The car used as a model is my 968)
yup - like the bottom one. just still haven't figure out how to do it without it being too loud, or costing power
dual short glass packs - has to be loud. does look good though.

Looks like one of the newer hardtop BMW Z4 convertibles.

Still my favorite .. and it's not photoshopped , it's the real thing. But not sure about its impact to power or to sound ..

Looks a lot like the exhaust setup on the V8 Supercharged Jaguar F-Type (they use a center dual tip for the Supercharged V6 models)
