Chuaed968,
Welcome! What a coincidence (if you believe in such things) we just happen to be in Singapore this week (Kampong Glam)...wonderful place and we're really enjoying the entire experience.
We've seen one 911, several Cayennes, a VW bug with 944 seats, but no other Porsches. A 968 is rare anywhere...but here? Priceless. Enjoy it!

Hi Chua, just seen your post, welcome to the site and congrats on getting a 968 in Singapore, it must be the only one!!
If the cab top is not already in manual you might think about doing that .... or do you not drive it at 2pm with the top down??
I worked in Singapore for ten great years, 1988 -1998, during the time when car permit lottery started (COE?) .... I think the first permits were SD500...... I now read it is SD106K, the equivalent of US$145K before you buy the car !!!!!
Anyway, good luck with it all.

Yes, the cost of a driver's license, the permit for the car, the cost of a car, insurance, etc. is ludicrous in Singapore.
Which is why very very few drive a car there...and the traffic is not terrible like Indonesia, Bali, etc.
