Hi!

 

I'm Bert, 30 years old petrol head from Belgium. I fell in love with the 968 some years ago. After owning several other 'sporty cars' (fiesta ST, Classic mini cooper, elise) I decided i would buy my first Porsche It has the LSD option (220).

 

I'm am the 3rd owner. I've been driving it for 7 months now. 

The body had a complete polish last week. 


Looking forward to some summer roadtrips! 

 

Yesterday I had a problem with some belts, but I will make a separate post describing the problem when this one is approved

Hi Bert and welcome. If you got any (belt) issues, I'm sure I can help you out. I own my '92 for about 10 years now and I practically rebuild the thing myself.

Welcome Bert. It is such a fun car to take out into the country side. A big head turner and comment maker since most people have never seen one before. Love the Midnight Blue colour as well. Your wheels (rims) are different, let's have the story.

Are those " turbo twists " wheels ? The spokes were probably straight to start with , but in the photo the car looks like it may be parked not too far from a nuclear plant reactor furnace , so the emissions might have melted the wheels into a twisted form .. :-) :-) .


And all kidding aside, welcome !

No, he just did a 0-60 in 2 seconds...and whoop deee dooo..... the spokes twisted!!!

Hmm i think that would have to been 0-60 in REVERSE to twist in that direction. An awesome feat!

Those wheels where on the car when i bought it It's not my personal preference.

On the passenger side of the car they look a bit strange, i know. 

 

Would love to have a nice set of Cup 1 rims.

Still going strong!
Timing belt has been done. Also variocam pads etc. has been replaced.  
Had to replace AC & powersteering pumps. Next on the list = front suspension replacement. 
 
Love doing tours in the Netherlands with friends
