Not sure that this has ever been asked...
do many have "personalzied" plates?
And
what are they?
Mine Is: 94 968
My plate is LAST968. The significance is two-fold: I'd had a 968 before, so this is my second - and, I expect, my LAST - 968; also, since mine is a '95, it's the LAST 968. But, no, it's not really, really, the LAST 968 ever made.
I have
9SIXTY8
on my 93 968
NO WRES (no worries) - the particular plate i wanted would only handle 6 characters

EEZATOY - self explanaitory?

WYLDCTZ obviously. Attached is my latest photo radar pic from a few months ago for your enjoyment....
I graduated from the University of Arizona, if you're wondering what the Wildcats is about.
I'm trying to come up with one that would fit into five characters, to fit on a particular type of specialized plate for Texas. So far, the only thing I've been able to come up with is 98GR8, but that sounds a little cheesy. Any other ideas?
WYLDCTZ;
That was nice of the city to send you photos of your car, plates, and yourself.
Although the one of you (or driver) may not be a high enough resolution for a passport photo!

Hmmm... I like it. I'll have to see if it's taken. Thanks.
My 968 was/is named Steffi -- the only distinctly German girl's name I could think of. The car's plate is "STEF968". The turbo has "SILVRSE".
My ex has a purple cab with the plates "968GIRL" -- no man would ever want to be seen driving it...
Mine is 9SIX8.
9SIXTY8 was taken
dave - i assumed it refferred to the mechanical specifications, and was somehow related to what you do - being an sae guy, din is a bit foreign to me (hehehe), but i figured they had as varied a list of din specs as sae
