Where can I find guards to protect the paint at the entry / exit rocker panels where I seem to kick it each time I get in and out? Are there different types? Plastic, SS or vinyl like the headlight protectors? Who's got what and are you happy with them?
Thanks,
Ron
unless you go to a place that does clear bras, the only source i've seen is at paragon - it's a complete kit that does the front end of the car, the front part of the hood, the rockers and the morrors - about $300
i plan to do my rockers too - if i come up with a kit, i'll let everybody know
Bob, where did you get your door jamb kick plates from? I think that is what he is after.
i got those from harvey - his email is 944nut@comcast.net - he has no website
65 bucks plus shipping
I do believe he is talking about Stainless Steel sills. Harvey's are the best, IMO. The Porsche cloisonne version looks great. If the PPI checks out on Wednesday, I'll be getting another set soon! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
I am another happy user of Harvey's Door Sill protector in stainless steel. Great buy and very simple to install. If you are really talking about protection for the plastic rocker panels which run underneath the door, I have had mine sprayed with bed liner material and they are very durable now and the rough texture looks attractive to me. No more stone chips for sure! Good luck, Bob Blackwell.
Thanks guys!
I was asking about the type that fit inside the door sill. I'll contact 944nut, good price too.
