While on the subject of start-up issues, let me run this one by y'all:
Belts/pulleys have less than 2500 miles on them. When I start up cold, (well, as cold as it gets here in Las Vegas) I have a bit of "whine" for maybe 1-2 minutes. And yes, the re-tensioning/check was done on time.
Should I be concerned? Doesn't sound "bad", just a cold pulley.

Sounds perfectly normal. That is how some of us tension our belts along with the twist method.
