this guy is buying full page ads in auto magazines ( already seen one in the September issue of European Car ) offering a $25k reward

for the recovery of his '89 911 turbo slant nose cab. , which was stolen June 2nd from his driveway. The reward extends to the thief but methinks the car is in central or south america by now, though..



There was also an article in the L.A. times on July 7th with more details, and a website is set up : www.stolenporsche911turbo.com



Just underscoring that our attachment to Porsches has little to do with the market value of the car..

Just a couple days ago I saw a red one (replica? not? who knows?) parked on the side of a street...but I can't recall where it was at. I doubt the theif would have parked it out though <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
