Hi All -
Trying to spiff up the ride a bit this weekend and noticed the white lettering rubbing off the thermometer/clock in the dash. The scratched face doesn't look so sharp either. It's a VDO gauge, Porsche part # 944.641.223.00. I also notice another part number: 631.202/028/001. For what it's worth, my car is a very early '92 coupe [29th U.S. market coupe] made in September 1991
Might this same part be available cheaper from say Volkswagen or Audi...kinda like the notorious heater valve also sourced in a VW Vanagen?
Any help appreciated. Thanks!
