Anyone ever pick up on this: we're all still "New Members" even if we joined on opening day last January?

(the above added for clarity)
lol - yes, but we now have over 800 of those new members!!! not bad at all
You'll have to ask Eric where the tiers are to bumping your status. I think regular member switches at 1000, but who really cares anyway? We are all gold members in my eyes. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
Where does it show "New Members"?

You would think that with 14% of the posts so far Flash would be considered an old timer?

Under your avatar, on the left hand column.
Wait a minute - Dave, you're showing as a "Member" while Bruce is a "New Member". And, Dave, you have two little blue boxes and Bruce has one. Clues?
The status bars and member rating are based on post count, not join date. The administrator sets the tiers.
Here is what you have to look forward to:

New Member 0

Member 500

Advanced Member 1000

Member: 968 Enthusiast 3000

Lifetime Member 5000
Here's to one post closer! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/tongue.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

I just noticed this post..

Since I don't chime in on every post I suppose it'll be ten years before I'm a member.. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/tongue.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Do we get any credit for the number of post read?? Then I'd definitely be a "Member: 968 Enthusiast" .. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/laugh.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
Hoping to be a member someday - and I am member #18!
My ignorance will have me at member status by Feb if I keep up my questions.
How about changing them to:

0-499 - 944 S3

500-999 - M030

1000-2999 - Club Sport

3000-4999 - Turbo S

5000+ - Turbo RS

LOL. Too funny.

Chris, that's clever, I'm with you on something similar.

Ps. I just got my membership at 500!
Yeah I can dig it. We should have levels named after mods

0-499 - stock

500-999 - chipped

1000-2999 - turbocharged

3000-4999 - intercooled

5000+ - roll cage

or something <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
