Some feedback please. I am trying to purchase some fuel injector seal kits for the 968. I went to Riverside Porsche and they ended up giving me a 944 part numbered part. Problem is the end insulator tip (plastic end piece) is too long. The OEM 968 tips are shorter. Anyone run into this? I asked the parts guy if he was sure that these were them and he said yes. I will post pics later for comparison.
Update: The kit was the wrong one and now the dealer is telling me that a kit is not made for the 968 with green tips. Is this true? Is a new injector the only recourse?
thanks
Lee
Just an update. I found someone on Rennlist that helped out.
I bought a complete kit for all 4 injectors from renbay for 12.00 or so. Works perfectly. My 968 is running fantastic! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

great, I just went through this last week. I broke the pintal cover also, the green piece. I had the head off and the fuel rail got bumped around.....I got mine from Cruzin Performance in Mich. I've used them before and they are good people.

Mine was a bit scary. The green plastic tip cracked and fell into the intake/head. Bounced around a bit. Got tore up a bit. But never fell through the valve. Had to jimmy a little tool to get it out.
