I'm looking to add XM Satellite radio to my car. The smallest unit I found was the XM Commander. This unit is two piece, you get a controller screen and a seperate receiver. I plan to put the controller in the small opening below the radio head unit. To do this, I am getting a 944 tray that doesn't have a clock. My outside temp gauge doesn't work. So I want to replace the temp gauge with the 944 digital clock unit. I know it will bolt up but since it's a real pain to pull, I don't know what the wiring connecter for the temp gauge looks like. Is it the same as the digital clock connector? The 968CS I saw at the LA show had the clock instead of the temp gauge with the 944 tray. It can't be that difficult, can it? Anyone else swapped the temp gauge for a clock?
