I called Jim Elllis Porsche in Atlanta and Ryan asked no questions other than VIN. He faxed me over about 30 pages of records for my car, right away. I found the last belt job, water pump, clutch, pinion bearing..... Tons of info here. It appears the PO had some oil leaks that were not repaired, but she traded the car back in to them and I don't have any oil leaks now - I guess they fixed them before they resold? Or the guy I bought from might have fixed? Anyway, tons of good info for me to catch up on.

Hey, that's pretty awesome! Great records to have. I'm surprised more people don't save their records... boosts the value of the car IMHO. Have you had work done by Jim Elllis Porsche, or did you just pick them out of the blue? I wonder how many records Porsche has on my car...
I had the history on the car and Jim Ellis is where it came from. Records that came with it were not as good as they should have been, but I was prepared to take care of potential issues. Lotsa good stuff was fixed at the dealer, it looks like.
