Considering this car:

1994 Porsche 968 Coupe - Amazon Green and Tan leather interior. 6 speed. 76K Miles CR-2 AM/FM CD. 17" wheels with newer Toyo Proxes 4's. Pinion bearing done. Recent timing belt, water pump service and power steering pump replaced. Autothority chip. Records from current and previous owner. Garaged and stored winters. Owned by PCA member.

Driver Air Bag; Anti-Lock Brakes; Air Conditioning; Alloy Wheels; AM/FM Radio; Cruise Control; Compact Disc Player; Passenger Air Bag; Rear Window Defroster; Power Seats; Leather Seats; Power Door Locks; Power Mirrors; Power Windows; Power Steering; Sunroof/Moonroof;

Spoke to the 4th owner and he seems very informed about the car. Current price is $15,500.

I live in CA, flying out to NY tomorrow and could stop by in OH to view/buy car but having a PPI done would be really tough. Anyone live near Colombus, OH? This is where the car is.

Sound like a decent deal? All my research points to the fact that this appears to be fair.

Thanks in advance!

Are you sure that's a '94? I could be wrong, but I thought the front and rear seats were different and the engine trim pieces were gone on '94 models. Maybe he replaced them though.

Mike, I talked to this guy a few weeks ago, and he seems pretty "straight up and

knowledgeable". I believe his name was also Mike. Anyway, he has owned more

than one 968. The car you are considering has a "special reconstruction" code

of 718, which indicates it was originally built as a '93, yet sold as a '94. Hence

the '93 color and seats, yet 94 wheels. This is per other members here, when I asked about the option code. If I had my funds together, it would be mine, as this is exactly the color combo I'm looking for. And cared for by a PCA member is just

a bonus. Hope this helps. Good luck!!

How did it go with this car? Did you buy it, as the seller still has it listed on Auto Trader? If not, what issues did you find? How flexible on the price was he? I may

be still interesed, it you didn't pull the trigger.
