First track day of 2017. Chilly in morning 40F degrees but reached 61F by 1PM. Hoosiers aren't too effective till surface temp well above 65F degrees.
Got in some hot laps after track surface and old man warmed up.

Do you bring your own photographer?
My press corps were there. Interviews later.
The car looks great !

Would you please stop the old man comments. I can't tell you how depressed that makes so many of the Forum members with that comment. Jay, DS to name two.
Hey, I'm not bothered in the least bit by being called an old man ..besides, there's always someone older. And my brain insists I'm in the shape of a thirty year old ...until my body foolishly attempts to test that instinct .
.In case the print is too small for you, it says "I'm not old, I'm simply aged to perfection"
By the way, the old man still passed a bunch of cars...

We need to talk to the owners here about a "Like" Button

If the old man didn't pass a bunch of cars then the moniker might well fit!!
I log in for the first time in ages and the first thing I see is that Firehawk!!! I remember when that car was a bit different looking.
Awesome - I'm so happy to see that!

And Scott, that was your 968 th post!
Good to have you back Scott!
az968 - that's right! Now it's 969. Took me a while to get there! Great to see what's going on after a bit of an absence. Still no replacement for "Claudia", but no less passion for the 968. Every other car I drive serves as a reminder of the excellence of the 968.
Rap - you still up near Lake Nuangola, PA? We'll be up that way this summer - it would be cool to hang!
Hey Scott, You know where I live. Stop on by sometime.
I do give a call. Love to get together.
Hello Pete -
Great to hear form from you and see that Firehawk on the track! That is one special car with a great story! Reminds me of
a 1931 Chrysler Waterhouse Imperial (one of three remaining in the world) that was in my family for 70 years, with my dad holding on to it with a dream of one day restoring it to it's original glory. If cars could talk.....
Anyone who is here and is passionate about cars will appreciate this story. Here's a link:
