I hate the da%# hose clamps the Germans like to use but can't deny they work well, just a bit&$ to get off.

As I'm going to be repacking the C-V joints soon and just about every other project requires a hose clamp to be removed what is the name of those clamps, the name of the tool and is there a reasonably priced source for them?

Also, is there an easier way to remove the clamps, especially in tight spots (the small clamp on the clutch fluid supply hose to master cyl. comes to mind). Dikes just don't cut it.

TIA
Try Samstag Sales at www.samstagsales.com. They carry a lot of German specialty tools (Hazet and others) and are located near Carthage, TN. I think the tool you are looking for is called clamp pliers. You might also check with Pelican or Performance Parts.
