Shumacher is retiring after this race. He's starting 10th, while his teamate

Massa got pole in front of his home crowd.

It was a pretty good season as Shumacher fought Alonso right up to

the end.

I never thought anyone would break Fangio's record of 5 world

championships. Shumacher is retiring with 7, and if his engine had

not blown up in Japan a few weeks ago he quite possibly could have

had 8.

Shumacher leaves behind big shoes to fill at Ferrari.
I know that not everyone is a M. Shumacher fan but I don't think anyone can deny that he has been one of the greatest, if not the greatest drivers of all time. He brought a lot of excitement and interest to F1 and he will be missed tremendously. I just finished watching him finish 4th place in Brazil with a couple of fastest race laps and some great driving. Who will I root for now?

Schumi put in a hell of a drive. An awsome result considering the adversity he had during the race. Great way to retire with yet aanother fastest lap to add to all the records.

Im thinkin Kubica will become a legend in a few years.
Without a doubt he is the winningest driver in Forumal 1 history. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> He is the greatest driver of the electronic car era but comparing drivers from one era to another doesn't work well.
I’m not big on Ferrari per say <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/dry.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> , but SHUMI ROCKS! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
