I recently purchased a 1994 triple-black Cab from a dealer in Baltimore. I'm trying to find information on the service history of this car in the period before the dealer acquired it.
The car is listed in the 968 Cab Registry as being in New Jersey in 2003. Apart from this, I have no other ownership info. The serial number ends in RS840134. If any previous owners of this Cab are still members here, please get in touch via PM.
Thanks!
Bill T.

I don't keep that much information. I do know that I saw the car on 968.net which means either the owner visited there or posted it in the classifieds. as for history, Porsche keeps maintenance history in their computers. Try your local dealer or even some of the NJ dealers to see if they knew the car. You should also contact Porsche customer service. Give them the VIN and they can tell you the in service date and the dealer that sold the car. You can then contact them. They usually see the car through the warranty period. Good luck.
Jeff, I didn't keep a record of my previous cab ('94 triple black cab) about which I emailed info to you a couple of months ago - could this be my first 968?

Could be, but there were many triple black produced in 1994. I have 14 of them registered. A call to Porsche customer service would answer your question. What dealer did you purchase the car from and when did you pick it up?

Thanks, Jeff. Porsche NA had the dealer info. The car was sold in Connecticut originally. I've got a call in to the dealer there, to see if they can provide service details.
