My turn signals and flashers do not work... <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/sad.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> .when I try to use them, the light stays solid. I think the relay needs replaced but I do not know the physical location of the relay. Can anyone help me? I have a 1995 968 cabrilet, triptonic. Many thanks.
the chart in the lid on the fuse box under the hood will tell you the location of the specific relay

The turn signal/flasher relay is not located under hood. Everyone indicates it is in an odd location but they are not specific. My turn signals and flashers do not work. I thought it might be by glove box but it isn't and looked everywhere but can't find the darn thing.
I don't know about a 968, but on other vehicles I have owned, a solid indicator light means a bulb has burned out. Worth taking a walk around the car.

Tom...already checked the bulbs and they are all OK. Just can't find the relay -- it isn't located in normal place.
the relay itself may not be under the hood, but the chart that tells you which one it is IS under the hood - pull the lid, see the chart - then look for it either in that group, or the one under the dash on the driver side
yes, could be a bad bulb, or a badly seated one

Relay is not under hood or under dash -- looked both places. Where else would this relay be located?
you're not looking hard enough
the indicator flasher is under the hood - it is in the main fuse box - G4
look at the chart
Hey,
Having same problem, all lights work, not flashing. Found G4 in the fuse box, now where can I get a replacement is that something I can get online or do I have to go to the dealer?
Thanks and hope all is well!
Steve
Hi Steve,
I couldn't find it in a search on Paragon.com , but I would give them first crack since they are sponsors of this forum. If they don't have it maybe they could ddirect you.
Regards,
Jay
Burned out bulb should make the relay click at 2x normal speed.
Thanks for your help.
I will check Paragon first.
