Hi,

I have recently built a "mini hammer" diagnostic code reader. Currently my 968 is in the shop undergoing an engine transplant, so it has been unavailable. I am looking for a volunteer 968 in the Detroit metro area to plug my hammer into and test to see if it works. I am unaware of anything harmful that could come from plugging into the diagnostic port.....So I need a volunteer! Especially one who is in need of their airbag light reset!



Anyone who is in the area please let me know if you are interested!

If ONLY you were a little further east. I think you should come to the 968 Celebration at Hershey at the end of this week - I'd be happy to share my airbag fault for your test. I'm still awaiting my interface so that I can build my own "mini-Hammer".

I have been trying to get to a Hersey Celebration for the past 11 years, as long as I have owned my 968. Every year I try to plan to go but as always something comes up. Either the car is getting work done on it or my work schedule get's in the way. I just keep promising myself that "next year" will be the year I will attend! I hope all who attend this year have a GREAT TIME!!! Hopefully next year I will attend!
