Any opinions.

I have a B&B muffler now and the tip was hit when my car was hit. I only need to replace the tip. I was thinking of going with a magnaflow double walled tip. It is about half the price of the B&B tip, the B&B tip is only an option if Ican convince B&B to sell me a tip, their preference is to only install themselves so I would have to remove muffler and ship to them.
only to say that each tip adds a different change to the sound - flaring smoothes the tone, reduces some of the pulsing, and raises the note - the more flaring, the more it does it - length makes for a change too, as does packing if it's a resonator - it is not just a cosmetic thing

right now, i have the borla - not bad, but i think i am going to go with a little less flaring on the next go round - not sure yet - one more round of bend changes and resonator change first
The B&B muffler is "throaty" which I like. I would think that because I am thinking of replacing the tip with the same ID and OD diameter as well as shape and rolled edge and length that it should be very similar sound.

I did not know if the double wall was good bad or had no impact.

Thanks for response
I may be willing to part with the tip from my old B&B. I am going to list the whole cat back up for sale, and if I have no takers I will contact you.
See if you can fit one of these on...

I think that flash could shroud the tip and redirect the air into a water cooled intercooler before stuffing it into the intake! Looks like free horsepower to me. But who would program the chip???
