I just bought a 968 Cab and will be installing rear seats the po did a really nice install of a roll bar that will be in the way of the seats I hate to see it go into the trash. I would be willing to trade it for the trim pieces that have to be modified for the install of the bar.
Let me know if your interested.

Im not positive but I would have to believe that if it fit into the cab. w/o any problem it would bolt into a coupe. I would be willing to trade it for some trim pieces that you may have from the wrecked coupe you have I need the trim strip that goes across the dash and the trim around the shifter as well as the engine comp storage box and airfilter box. I can get you some dimentions if your interested
looks pretty cool
whether or not it fits into a hardtop will depend largely on the lower mounting - it's pretty tough to snake one through the door - however, if the mounting plates are small enough, you might be able to bring it in through the rear and spin it down into place - the seats might have to come out to do it though
by the way, it's really hard to tell by the photo, and i have no idea if these things are met, but there are a few things to keep in mind to see if it will pass spec for racing:
i'd get a dimension of the seat relative to the bar - if you sit back very far, it might not have the minimum amount of distance there to pass inspection
you would need to check to see that the mountings are into the frame, with a landing pad that meets spec
the tubing would need to be DOM and not ERW - the acceptable size would be 1.5" dia with a wall of .120, or 1.75 dia with a wall of .095
should be fine for DE events though, and certainly safer regardless

I'm interested but you need to find out if it meets all the standards for racing and does it have a bar for a harness or not. I probably have the stuff you need also.
