Ran across this website showing the numbers of 968s registered. Interesting how the Tip cars are getting so rare.

This must be UK registrations as the CS wasn't sold in the US, That was a special car for the UK, they have all the luck!

Prices on flea-bay have really been on the upturn for 968's as well. Average cars with asking prices around 25k.

But check the sold listings.  Prices about half that.

The UK only car was the Sport, basically a car grabbed off the CS line and had cloth seats, electric windows and a few other comforts fitted and sold in the UK only. has the same 20mm lower chassis

the CS was sold all over Europe including the UK, not really any different to the Coupe almost all were ordered with sunroof and electric windows and even some with Aircon, the standard CS is just 20mm lower due to re-index and 20mm shorter front springs the shocks are the same unless its a M030 car

so the extra cash for a CS is paid on the whole, by mugs.

the only real CS worth having is a totally original car with M030 M220 no sunroof, no extras and the hard back seats, now getting very rare indeed, think the last one i watched sell went for about £38,000 so that's about $55K
