We were able to remove the bumper and had it painted. We put it on the truck and drove it to place for paint. I had thought about driving the car there with no bumper but after seeing the parts that would be exposed I decided against that. The bumper came out great and the paint job was pefect however I did have a problem with lining up the front where the curve is on top buy the lights. I didnt know to get a new seal and that may have caused the problem. On the left side it 1/4" and on the right it is 1/2" and shows the triangles of the seal I can't figure out how to make the difference the same on both sides 1/4" each side so it doesen't look so off center. We took it off twice and tried to put it back on straighter but no luck it came out the same. Any one have this problem? Keep on driving!
After I glued the new piping on the front cover I set my bumper cover out on a blanket in the sun for about an hour and this made it very soft and went on without any trouble!

I think if you can get the sides to match up with the holes in the brackets that squeeze it to the bottoms of the fenders and the top screws go in OK with that black aluminum bar in the engine compartment than you cant do much else to try to align it?
