Well after 5 years of ownership and many hours spent spannering plus a hge amount of money i have finally had to have the courage to sell the clubsport, finacial matters made the decision for me in the end, with the crap economic climate over here in the UK, a few parts have gone to some good buddies, i would like to say thanks to all you US guys who have contributed your wealth of knowledge and ideas that i have used in building my car, not going to mention your names but you know who you are, will stil venture on the site as i intend to get another 68 in the future and it will be even more special than this one, in the meantime i have a year 2000 subaru wrx sti type RA to play with that was part of the deal of my sale, not quite the same as the clubsport but im sure i will have some fun in it, plus the kids can fit in the back. pazzer.
Indeed it is a sad day.
We will miss you Pazzer, look forward to having you as part of this community again soon...

Regards,

Jay
Family first. Things are getting tough over here as well. Housing market, price of gas etc. Somethings gotta give.

Look fwd to your return and the STI has a nice punch to it <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
Truly a sad day after all the time and pounds spent on your car. I know you sold the Dynatech STB, did you part out the rest of your goodies or did someone buy it with the all of the rest? The Subi will be a fun car Chris, hope to have you back in a 968 at some point.
I think you can work that Subu to 420hp! Good luck with your new ride!
It sucks you had to let it go after what you put into it. Like you said, you can always buy another one later.
thanks guys, yeah i parted some bits to good friends for reasonable money too, i also have some bits on pistonheads for sale aswell, got to get some money back, the guy who is buying it is getting a real good bargain imo, but thats life and i need the cash short term, but i will get another next year and boy its going to a good one trust me, for the time being the scooby will be used, they dont do much for me in the looks department but i have never driven one, its thr type RA "race altered" which is the lightweight model, should be a blast, but im thinking of selling asap and getting a honda integra, apparently one of the best front wheel drive chassis ever, 5 k should get me a good one uk spec, set of spare rims with some sticky rubber and we go tracking again yippee, will let you all know, its not a porsche but im sure you wont mind all the best pazzer, ps have you all seen the turbo s for sale on pistonheads 50k they want, maywell have that if i put in some overtime ha ha ha .
Chris, Best of luck.

Hope to have you back in a 68 in the future.
Sorry you had to (temporarily) exit from 968 ownership. From being on the track with some of those Subarus, you may find that it's quite a bit of fun.
