I'm not familiar with these, but I thought that with modern (and, though it may not seem like it sometimes, the 968 falls into the "modern" category) microprocessor-based engine controllers, there really isn't much, if any, gain to be had with an aftermarket ignition. Unless, I suppose, the application is on a heavily-modified (read boosted) engine. Do you have experiences to the contrary?

I had the crane systems in my boosted cars. it actually did make a difference on the dyno, but i don;t recall numbers. The crane system did also make a noticeable difference on my NA v6 alfa 3.0 in the lower rpm range(with mild porting and mild race cams...a Bosch system, too.)
