I don't know if I'm missing something but when I press the sunroof button so the back of it can go up, nothing happens. Do I need to unlatch something? I don't want to remove the sunroof, just open it. Maybe there's something wrong with the switch or something. I try it when the car is running and when it is not running. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Could be as simple as a "dirty" switch.



Also could be the micro switches or a bad motor.

There are no lock latches - with the key in the run position it should go up. Does the lift motor make any noise? If not, check the fuse and if I recall it has a relay too.

If you can hear the motor, but the panel doesn't move, most likely the plastic lift gears are stripped.
