Our thoughts go out to the members in North/South Carolina and Virginia facing down this "Monster" storm.

Please be safe, evacuate if you are told to, and for God's sake, take your 968 with you!

Regards,

Jay

Yes, please don't take any chances ! There have been reports that officials are hyping the category with which it will hit just to make sure people evacuate and there are those doubters , but this M-F'ing thing is immense , even it it weakens by the time it reaches the coast . Take good care of yourselves and the 968 as well ..
Good reason for a road trip. My sister and her husband just headed back from Avalon NJ to Charlotte.
Good news : it weakened to a mere tropical storm ..so that category 4 they predicted, fizzled down below 1 .

Bad news ( really bad...) it's so slow that it just lingers around for days and drops massive amounts of rain so flooding is likely to be at catastrophic levels .

And really bad news in general : hurricane season has barely just started !
Still waiting for a post from our " banditsc " to hear how he fared out . Clue : for those who don't know, the sc in the moniker does not stand for supercharger ;- ) . Josh , all things safe and sound ?

Although I'm sure he's busy with slightly more important things than to read posts..and that's assuming there's even power in the area...
Josh sent me a note...wind and rain, but he's safe from the storm.

And, most importantly, all of the Porsches are safe.

All good here, it never really came here, just a couple sprinkles and stiff breeze.

Thanks

That's good to hear , so it's " the north " that took the brunt of the storm I suppose.

Yeah, flooded 968s would be a terrible thing .
My sister says it’s raining in none stop sheets of rain in Charlotte.
