Nice photos, Gary. At first, I was wondering how you got them so fast, then I looked back and saw that they were from an event last month (which made me feel sane that I hadn't missed a yellow 968 this past weekend).

I really enjoyed the video. I was unable to get my camera mounted (I need to have the top down to install the mount - I'm going to modify it so that I can install is with the top up), but I did shoot one lap when we took our tow truck out on the parade laps. I'm delighted that our exit speeds at Oak Tree are about equal - but that's about all that's equal in our laps.

Next time, I WILL ride with you!

Absolutely Jim, maybe at the WGI event with Chin in May.

The yellow 968 belongs to a nice lady by the name of Terri who helps run the NNJR DE events with Bob Michaelson
I'd like to talk to you about NNJR events. I've never done a PCA event, don't know that I would pass tech, but I'm interested in learning about them. Have a great winter.

There's less track time with the NNJR, however a lot of their events are 3 day's which is nice. They did have a upper run group event at the Glen in September, that was their best event as there was only 2 run groups red or black.

The PCA events are a lot cheaper and there are lots of them, Schattenbaun region also does a nice event.

Will at PMR will know all about any Tech questions, he is very involved with the Tech "authourity's".

When I see him on Friday I will try to remember to ask him.
Great action shots!
What a fab video.

That circuit looks great, with all the elevation + direction changes thrown in.

Your car sounds SWEET...

Have you got some sort of telemetry "capture" that couples with your vid camera to get the telemetry on the screen..??

Ide be interested in one of those....

Thanks,

The video and data system is all by Traqmate, the intergrating of video and data is done with the Traqmate Studio program that came with the complete system. Although I did not use it that day I also have a 2nd camera facing to the rear(mounted on the roof). The unit that you need to intergrate that can make the video record in many variations, split screen, picture in picture etc.

You can also analys all the recorded data and it will even tell you your theoretical best lap, its a very cool set up.

It works too for auto cross.

Thanks, I can't wait to get the cd from this event, hopefully there's pictures of my car with the Ferrari challenge car that was there.
