I am, as are most Northern Californians, grateful for the rain received yesterday and for that which we will receive over the next few days. Clean air and for our firefighters, fire suppression on a grand scale. This rain should give them the upper hand on the existing fires and effectively end the fire season in California.
Indeed, no one objects to a rainy thanksgiving day around these parts ! Too bad it's not pouring down today as well, but tomorrow looks promising .
