Hi from another UK 968'er (London)

Before removing the CAT consider MOT but more importantly you will lose power everywhere until the very top. Promax Chip good, KW also especially if tracking, MO30's I believe are now back in production, I have a set on mine and very pleased (as well as a Promax Chip and all new suspension.)

Cheers for the replys guys i didnt know id lose power removing the cat.. Maybe ill go for a high flow one instead, other things im going to do are airbox mod to release some noise and strut brace , car has just had a 48k service new tyres and brakes so what should i look for with regards to preventative maintenance..

Very excited for tomorrow....

Cheers guys

Timing belt and water pump if not done prior. Timing belt should be done every 3 to 4 years. Waterpump probably every other timing belt change.

I checked the belt was done regularly in the history as well as Balance belt, also prior to purchase i made them remove cam covers and show me the teeth on the cam gears, also the chain and tensioner pads were done recently only thing that wasnt done that i wanted was a clutch whats the clutch life like?

Seems to be decent. My clutch still feels like it has plenty of bite after 66700 miles of dubious origin and 300 of tender loving care.

Timing belt age is very important, so definitely replace it if it's been over 3 years.
