A short introduction of my car(s) and myself: my two Porsches are parked near the city of Dordrecht, so that's also the place where I live <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.png" class="smilie" alt="" /> . Two years ago I started with a nice white 996 convertible, but last April I decided to replace it with a red 997. I love the "eyes" of the 997 more because they refer to the classic 911, instead of the eyes of the 996. But because I long have had the ambition to attend Trackdays I wanted to have a second Porsche. So that's the reason why my black 968 came into my life last May.

Until now we went to two Trackday events at Circuitpark Zandvoort together and also attended a few special driving classes. But because my 1992 968 coupe is in such good shape, I find it harder and harder to use it for Trackdays. Maybe I have to look for a third one which I keep only for racing....

Before I drove the 968 I already heard of the excellent road holding, but I couldn't imagine how good it is. The car really surprised me and I love to use it as my daily driver. This is it for now, I look forward reading the various topics at this forum.

Kind regards,

Sylvia

Welkom. Always nice to see that in a small country, as we are, we have 89 registrated 968 coupe's over here and about the same amount of cabrio's.

Leuk en welkom op deze site. je vind hier veel leuke dingen die het een stuk leuker maken als je dagelijkse grappen en grollen begrijpt van een 968.

Regards Ritchie.
