Darryl, I want to try Adams products. I would like to start with the instrument panels that r not a true black any more. Does Adams make any thing to bring them back to a black shine but not over shiny? I wouls also like to try any thing for the exterior black plastic pieces like front grate, wheelliners, etc. thanks

There are two trim dressings available......the Super VRT and In&Out Spray. The VRT is for Vinyl, Rubber, and Tire, hence the acronym but it can be used on plastic. It is designed to penetrate and condition which it cannot to with plastic so I tend to not use it for a cure all when it comes to hard, non-porous materials. The In&Out spray is better suited for plastics but since it's an aerosol, containing it to smaller trim pieces, especially on the interior, is difficult. You could spray a little on a small applicator and apply it before it evaporates or another similar technique.

Adam's also makes a product called "Quick Sealant" which is for paint and exterior, but I've found that it provides a great medium style sheen to exterior trim pieces. I'll have to give it a try on some interior pieces and see how it does. Again, since it's an aerosol, you'd need to spray on an applicator of a suitable size and shape and then apply it to the desired area.

My car will NEVER be concourse, however, I will be showing it for the very first time on October 11th at a People's Choice show in Blue Bell, PA.

They have a water cooled category and I will probably get a mention after some ratty 928.

My car will look SWEET with all of the Adam's products I use!

Yes I lost to a blue 928 with gold wheels two years ago at Hershey. I entered a local one this year for the first time and watched a rusty and dirty Couger win an award over mine. My car was mint and had a constant stream of people around it asking questions and ohhing and ahhing. One guy offered to buy it! Later found out that some of these events are a good old boy's type of deal. I've yet to work up the courage or find the time to do a Porsche concours.

sorry to burst your bubble ( all the guys with light colored cars ; silver, white, etc..) but no matter what holy grail products and detailing process you use on the vehicle, it will never show nearly half as well as a marginally decent wax job on a dark car.

Ds truer words can not be spoke like. My red car blows the white one away! Is there a product by the name of Holy Grail?
