With the success of our 2nd Bi-Coastal Detail Day, Flash and I were discussing a way for the West Coast attendees and for that matter, all 968 Forums members to be able to buy the Adam's products. I have setup a discount code to be used at checkout with your shopping cart for discounted purchases and you can buy directly from the Adam's website.
http://www.adamspolishes.com There's an Adam's forum to join and a mailing list where you can receive other higher discounts and other periodic specials as well.
The how-to videos are available on the site and I'm happy to answer any questions about the products, especially what works best on various parts specific to our beloved 968. I've been familiar with a few of the items for a couple of years now, but since becoming a dealer, I've had the opportunity to try out almost all of them and they all work as advertised. Very good results with minimal effort and safe for use by the casual DIY'er.
We all know about the fabulous Detail Spray, but I'll also recommend a few must haves:
Glass Cleaner - hands down the best and last glass cleaner you'll ever need. Use it around the house too!
Super VRT - water based, yet when dry, water repellent and UV protection for the dash and tops of doors. A must have for tires.
Waterless Wash - more cleaning power and lubricants than the Detail Spray and you'll end up using it in combination with DS. Clean with Waterless Wash, bring the shine back with Detail Spray.
Carpet Cleaner - You'll think you're watching a late night infomercial, but it actually does it. Use it around the house too.
Everything smells good too!!
As soon as I confirm that the discount code is active, I'll let everyone know via this thread that you can place an order.

Discount code to use at checkout is "968Forums" and should be good for 10% off your entire order. There may be a few exceptions, so please be patient with any minor snafus that may occur. Let me know if you have any questions.

Take a look at their kits. If you've never used a polisher before, I'd recommend the Porter Cable 7424 Random Orbital. It's very safe for both beginners and professionals and with it and some patience, you can achieve some pretty incredible results.
The Starter Porter Cable and the Premium Porter Cable would be two I'd look at to get started. The Starter Kit is a basic polish kit (assumming you have towels, soap, etc. and just want to get into polishing) while the Premium kit has everything needed to from wash to wax and all steps in between. If you go with the Starter Kit, you can always pick up some of the cleaners and accessories separately as you find the need. The Premium Kit already includes many of the items you end up purchasing anyway!
As banditsc has done, I'd recommend watching the videos but not to get too distracted watching Ashley use the VRT! Just an FYI, I'm not sure the discount code will work for the pre-packaged kits, but give it a shot!

I would say it's very much on par with a line such as Griot's, however, the biggest benefit to the Adam's line is the simple fact that it's designed and engineered for the DIY'er in mind. The videos and color coding of the towels and products really make the entire line stand out for ease of use and excellent results. It's good enough to use as a professional but easy enough for a beginner. The directions are clearly spelled out on the back of each bottle, which is more than can be said for a lot of products, and the videos on their site (and YouTube) fill in any blanks. There is also a great forum dedicated to the Adam's product line staffed by dealers such as myself and member's of the Adam's crew to answer your questions and provide tips and tricks.
As for it being "better" than something else on the market, Adam has a personal philosophy that he won't invest time and money into bring a product to market unless he can make it better than what is already out there. That alone basically tells you that each and everyone of his products works well and exactly as advertised. They also offer a 110% money back guarantee and the customer service simply cannot be beat. It's a great little company and I'm proud to be affiliated with it. And, it's all made in the good 'ol US of A.

110% money back guarantee? Let's see ... hmmmm ... if I buy $100,000 worth every month, I could retire!
Seriously, though. I picked up a bunch of Adams products when it was on sale to forum members. Great stuff.
