Anybody else get the email from 9magazine with the Cayenne question??? Whats your guess as to what the hell that thing is? First wind powered SUV? Super XM radio antenna? I would guess tellemetry of some sort. Satellite parts chase team?? Any other guesses?

"I saw a special on TV about it (Speed or VS). They are special vehicles prepared by a company in California. They are used for filming movie scenes that involve vehicle(s) action shots. They have several of these. The cayenne is one, also (if my memory serves me well) they have an Evo, a dessert dune buggy, and a Mini if I am not mistaken.



I saw the show fairly recently. Perhaps inside the last six months….

They used a Cayenne with the camera rig for filming of scenes in the Transformers movie. These are the guys that build them. http://www.pursuitsystems.com/porsche.html
