Interesting that 4 are that "Raspberry" color... <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/glare.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Most are cabs, which TOTALLY makes sense! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/rock.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

hey, what's with the duplicate threads on this topic ? and yeah, if you drive a cab it may as well be in a raspberry-pink-rose-coral color to match the beret or scarf you're likely wearing <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/icon_lol1.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

1. the cab did come first. Yes, I read it in one of my 968 (or 924/944/968) books. Porsche had so much trouble converting the 944 coupe into a cab, this took years of body reengineering. They then decided they would design all sports cars first as cabs, then add a roof to make a coupe. So sadly we can't win the coupe-is-better argument, other than they look better, are faster, better on the track, quieter, have more room, and look better, and are faster, more trackable, quieter, have more room, look better, and ..... -- oh yeah? No way! Way! Is not! Is too! Step outside! Yo mama!

2. Can't understand the raspberry red either, as Langley and everybody knows, silver is the fastest 968.

if silver is the underlying color of the car's body after you strip all the paint off ( major weight savings <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.png" class="smilie" alt="" /> ) I agree <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/3gears.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

You paint them the primer silver color and then finish off with a nice GP White to make them look their best.

When I browsed that site in the past, I found this googling around:

I certainly hope one of these is part of that collection, if you really must drive a cab <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/rolleyes.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> the Jackie Stewart "flying scot" cap is an absolute pre-requisite .

I agree with az968. Grand Prix White looks great on 968's. Riviera Blue also looks great

Langley and Syncro are clearly members of the highest intelligence and reliability...I would absolutely believe their opinion on the fastest color...no question!

And not just a cameo, a main lead part! The guy certainly has great taste in cars, and women!

The 968 has very distinct headlights that totally worked for the effect they were after in this video!

Very cool...

Yes, the 968 was oogling at Jennifer, with its distinct frog eyes . I bet a lot of viewers were mesmerized by what they may have thought was a UFO , or better put, a UDO ( unidentified driving object ) because of the pop-up lights. Mostly the younger viewers probably . Not that I expect that's going to start a new trend and generate a huge demand for 968s or other cars with that feature, LOL, but someone in that video's production crew must either have or had a 968, or at least nostalgic about the handful of cars in the 80s and 90s with that feature .

You are such a sentimentalist. Maybe it fit in their budget. I must admit it was a long wait to see the 968 amid crappy music. Yet it brought an early morning smile!!
