I was going through My Porsche poster collection this evening to plan out what I am going to frame for my new Garage. I came across a poster I purchased off of ebay about three years ago. It is a rare 968 Poster as this is the only one I had ever found. I know Flash claims to have all of the Porsche posters. Bob do you have this one too? I have probably 50 posters in my collection most were given to me by my buddy that used to run Parts at the dealership. He found a bunch of older racing posters that were stored in their warehouse. He gave all of them to me as a gift. I will frame most of them since they are really cool! I also have a collection of Artist signed posters that I picked up at various events, I will post them after they are framed. Anyway here is the only 968 poster I still have in my collection. I also still have the large blow up photo from Hershey 2002 that I won as a door prize at Hershey 2003.

I have a number of the 968 posters but I don't have that one. Very cool. I have all mine stored in the attic. I'm afraid to put them up as I know the light will hurt them. Are you using a special frame and covering?
One of my coolest posters is not a 968 but a 951. Back in the eighties, if you were an autoweek subscriber, I guess Porsche purchase a mailing list from them. One day in the mail I got a red tube from PCNA with an invitation to come down to the dealership and test drive a new Porsche. In the tube as well was a front end shot poster of a new 944 Turbo but what was most interesting was that they went to the trouble of having a little persoanlized license plate made up with my name on it and put it on the poster in the right spot. This must have been around 1987.

Oh, the calendars, I have 1994 and 1995. What years do you have? Some great 968 shots but I have to admit, my favorite shot is the riveria blue 928 in the 1995 calendar. 1995 was the year the had the "kids" future owners theme.

I keep them all rolled up in a closet I had a bunch of mass produced freebees that I just stapled to my old Garage. When the new Garage is built the interior will be as nice as in the house so I plan on getting them framed they do sell special glass that will not ruin the colors of the poster. Framing is pricey though. Last year Porsche did that same marketing idea with the 997 I recieved a 997 print with my name on the plate that one will definatley make it to the framer.
