I'm going to IMA Motorsport tomorrow and will ask if they have one. They do a lot of work on 968s.

Just curious, what is the going rate for a 3.0L long-block from IMA?

Ok, I talked to Ivan today and he has a 968 3.0L engine he will sell. The price is $4500. He can reached at 703-327-9858. He will be out on vacation till the 20th. I do not have the details but he can do an engine dyno and prepare in any way you want. The price is for the engine only of course. I have been a customer and now Marketing Mgr for IMA for 16 years so I know he will be honest with you.

So, the real question X is, what are you planning to do with it??? Stuffing it in a Miata, perhaps?

I think there is one listed on Craigslist somewhere. I saw it a few days ago.
