93 Cab 86k $5500 on craigslist
#1

Anyone see this Cab for sale...93 wimbelton green only 86+k - doesn't look to bad, some cosmetic fix's but he's only asking $5,500 and say hes willing to talk on the price...I would have to see wimbelton in person but for the price it almost makes want to jump in to get a cab to go with my coupe .

1) I LOVE Wimbelton (Wimbeldon?) Green...

2) The "to do" list on this car puts it outside my comfort level for desireablility. Same car in perfect condition would have my undivided attention.

One of 12 cabs in that color. As for the name, try again, Wimbledon

I printed both ads off becuase I have a brother-in-law that could be tempted to aquire one. It would have to be the one in Sta Monica, since he probably would not be looking for a "project car".
On the other hand, if the "project" one were a coupe, it would probablt be snapped up at that price for a track car.

I tempted to buy it and pull the engine. Course then I'd have to ship it, along with my car, to Pete as I would have absolutely no idea what to do with an engine in my driveway...

i'm getting really close to buying all of these cars and sitting on many of them, and parting the rest

I would have to see Wimbledon in person to realy judge the color - but at that price it is inticing...now if it were oak green I would be having some serious talks with my wife as to why I need another car (let alone a two door convertible of my daily driver)...

I'd be interested in that cab to for it's color, but it needs a full repaint, so that kind of kills it for me.

Flash if your buying those and parting the rest, I got dibs on your seats and suspension and the white cars engine.

i can't drive a green car - racer's bad luck - i'd wreck it for sure

but i could sure buy and sell one or part it out, and as long as i kept the peanuts away and didn't tow it backwards, i should be fine

Am I the only one bothered by the painted bumpers on the Wimbledon/Wimbelton ?
Sticks out like a soar toe.

i don't like painted bumperettes - i'd rather see them removed than painted - my personal thing for sure, but other than a black car, where i think being painted is ok, i like the accent point of the bumperette - there are plenty of people who like them painted though
