'91 944S2 owner says Hi
#1

Long time 911 owner (many examples owned over the past 25 years), I do all the wrenching, restoring, painting, etc. on them myself. Recently bought a very nice '91 S2. I live in So. Cal. Nice to be here, looking forward to sharing technical info, etc!

Maybe we'll see you around! This car is for my son's 16th birthday, so look for the kid with a huge smile on his face.

The car has been very well maintained, the only order of business for right now is an oil change and replacing the engine mounts.

Looking forward to perusing the site. Getting into here was harder than getting into Fort Knox!

Welcome to the site there's a ton of useful information here. I had an '91 S2 Cab for a few years in college and it was rock solid even with over 170,000 miles it pulled hard; great car! Also pretty easy to do the wrenching on so hopefully you two can enjoy working on it together.

Happy motoring, Dan

Thanks, can't make it this Saturday, but thanks for the invite!

I changed the oil and filter last night, that was straightforward. Other than the Mahle filter that was on the car was a different part number and size than the Mahle that I put on! But after some research I figured out both sizes work.

Get the Canton race filter and housing - makes life a lot easier. Lots of posts about it here.
