What a great friggin’ race today !!! Makes most of the F1 races seem a little boring by comparison. ( and I happen to be a huge F1 fan ...)  And now with 40% grandstands capacity allowed..which is still 135,000 people !  

But this has always been the granddaddy of all races, at least in terms of being the most exciting, and consistently so.. Many F 1 races, or GT series , or LeMans , etc.. can be ho-hum, and even those which are top notch are still not quite as exhilarating .  IMO.

 

Huge congrats to Castroneves !    Always one of my favorite drivers and seems like such a genuinely nice guy .

It was a good race. I found last weeks Monoco GP to rather boring. Just a high speed parade of cars in much the same order as they qualified.

Agree, as historic and as beautiful of a venue as Monaco is,  it’s a boring track for both drivers and spectators .  Too narrow everywhere and nearly impossible to overtake unless something goes wrong with a car ..or a driver and or the team royally screw up..otherwise , yup, frequently the same order finish as the qualifying order.
