2008 Honda VFR800-A

2008 Honda VFR800-A

The VFR has always been a great bike. This version is no exception. This bike was ahead of its time and has variable timing and anti-lock brakes. All bikes like this now have it. It got great reviews when it was new, and still has a cult following.

I bought this for myself as a 50th birthday present, and just don't ride it. I had been riding for over 25 years, and had been without a bike for a few years and thought I wanted another one. As it turns out though, due entirely to where I live, I have to ride in traffic for an hour just to get to a place to ride. Unless and until I live someplace else, I just don't have a place in my life for a bike, and it's a shame to see it just sit in the garage.

I got it with 19k miles on it. After that I spent well over $3k going through it and putting on all new stuff and getting it serviced. This bike is immaculate and has ALL service up to date. You won't find a cleaner one.

21k miles

ABS version with adjustable suspension

New Metzler Tires

New Chain and Gears

16k valve service done

Also comes with:

Hard Shell Saddlebags

Cruise Control

Heli-Bars

"Cut-down" seat

12V Power Port

Battery Tender

$7500

spring time is around the corner.  i need the garage space.  time for this to go.

i just looked it up on cycle trader, and it came up at $7400, and i wasn't able to load the software up with everything it has, so it's worth more than that.

to make it go away, i'm lowering the price to $7k
