I have a set in my coupe mounted on sliders bolted to the floor, as I was looking to maximize head room. I have heard second-hand that sometimes the width of the seat could be a problem with making aftermarket seats fit in a 968, but these fit fine.
Comfort-wise, I have no complaints except the bolsters on the sides of the seat bottom are a bit aggressive for me - they grip my hips and legs just a bit too tightly. I don't really notice unless I'm driving multiple hours and then it becomes a little annoying. I believe these seats can be had in a wide size, which would probably have worked better for me, although I'm not unhappy that I bought these. If there is a race store with a showroom nearby, it's not a bad idea to sit in the seats for a while before purchasing. I bought mine from Stable Energies in NJ.
If you are looking to use them with racing harnesses, the loops for the shoulder straps are on the high side. This works perfect for me (I'm 6'4" with most of my height in my torso) but would not work for short drivers (5'10" or less).
The black cloth has held up well over several years of use. It was my daily driver for a while; now a weekend car.
I think these seats represent a good value for the money.
