Replaced my 968 with...
#1

I sold my 968 last year after 7 years  of ownership. I went about 6 months with just my daily driver and finally pulled the trigger on another "fun" car. Its a 2005 Lotus Elise with 19k miles and the ForceFed turbo kit. It is an amazing car and is everything and more that I wanted it to be.

This forum is awesome and i hope that LotusTalk will be just a little of what this forum is.

there are times that I wish I was shorter as I am 6' 4" and can not fit in so many cars or airplane seats.

Great car!!  Enjoy it.  You will now understand oversteer and balancing a car with the throttle.

i love what that car can do.  i just wish they made it a big bigger (i can't believe i'm saying that).  if they stretched out the lines just a tad more, it would smooth out and really be amazing looking.  i think that's why i like the evora so much.

I haven't put too many miles on it yet but the car really is awesome. It runs 7# of boost and hits peak boost at 2500 rpm so there is essentially no lag. over 6000 rpm when the cam switches over the car just turns insane. really is awesome, can't wait to do some track days in it! First thing I want to do is get some tinted windows, I had no idea how much attention this thing would get. Its a little uncomfortable having people staring everywhere you go. Its relaxing driving my Jetta now!

Fingers crossed that I do not have an issues with it, last thing I want to do is be tracing down an issue on a car with a turbo kit. I have already noticed some wiring and switches that I would have done differently, not looking forward to the day when I have to trace all these wires down.

I agree with flash, make it longer and then I might be able to fit in it. They lengthened the cayman and now I can drive it

My neighbor has one, it is an absolute go-kart...you literally feel every bit of road, it fits like a glove.

Melva would absolutely hate riding in this car, no creature comforts at all, but what a BLAST!
