What the heck is going on with this 1:43 scale standard that everyone seems to produce ?! Who thought that's a good size for anything other than using it in a miniature city model or keeping it in your shirt pocket to show someone on the spur of the moment what you drive..:-)) ?! Bugs the hell out of me - way too small to appreciate and showcase the car unless, like flash , you have the entire collection in a display cabinet . And the only larger ones are in a plastic kit you have to build yourself .. 1:12 die cast models is what we need, so you can buy one for your desk at work and one for the mantlepiece at home. 1:43 size is too small even for smurfs. Smurfette would drive a blue cab of course..

Amen <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.png" class="smilie" alt="" /> Although I'd prefer 1:18, to match my Corvette ZR1, Porsche 356, New Beetle, Knight 2000… …I've said too much <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.png" class="smilie" alt="" />

1:18 would also be great. actually, many years ago and buried somewhere in one of the forum threads is the story of an attempt at finding a source who might consider making us some die cast models in those larger sizes.. long story short, IIRC only one place indicated they could do it but it would be cost prohibitive unless they produced and sold hundreds of them..

the site is a bit lame. you have to poke around, and then it will eventually send you to another site to actually order it here in the states.

I've been in contact with a manufacturer of 1:18 models. They have now scanned a 968 Turbo S and are planning to release it sometime in the next year. If the response is good, I believe a Clubsport will follow that, but can't confirm.

Went to spark also but could not find a 968 listed, would be nice if you could post the complete link that you found it under.

I also called MINICHAMPs under part # 4000 623 22 a grey /green 968 coupe but it is sold out. I think if everyone on the forum called them asking for either coupes or cab then they would be forced into making a run as they would have gotten enough requests for making a run. Minichamps phone is 305-971-1171

While you're at it, Bob, you might as well get this real limited edition (of 33 pieces) CS coupe...
