Come join us in historic and picturesque Annapolis, Maryland and a drive on the eastern shore! Crabs and beer! Beautiful Chesapeake Bay scenery!!! Great photo ops!
We will have special reserved parking at the downtown city dock area beginning at 9:00 am. By special arrangement with the City of Annapolis, we are holding an "educational event" in the public interest -- showing off our babies and talking with passersby about our rare and collectable 968's! We'll have lunch nearby, then head in a procession up Main Street and on backroads to the Bay Bridge for a fun drive on the eastern shore. Beautiful bay views and rural scenery will be ours as we drive to St. Michaels, and if time allows, taking a ferry boat across a river to lovely Oxford, then back through Easton and heading back to Annapolis on Rt 50. We'll make stops along the way for refreshments and have dinner in St. Mike's or back in Annapolis.
PM to happysails2you if you'd like to join us!
Cost: $25 for special parking per car, payable in advance to happysails2you. Lunch, dinner, and other refreshment costs -- pay as you go that day.
Time: Plan to arrive around 9:00 am (no later than 10:00), so we have time to show off our babies before heading to lunch in town. You can depart after that or continue on our fun drive on the eastern shore.
Bring: items to spruce up your car (sorry, probably won't have access to a hose ), folding chairs if you'd like to sit during our "show", cameras, sunscreen and big smiles!
Signs: To educate the public, make a sign for your windshield about your car -- be proud! I'll make one big sign that provides facts about the 968.
Friends: If you have another Porschephile or two who'd like to join us (in their own parking area) at city dock and/or on the fun drive, sure! PM to happysails2you.
